Mobile giant Nokia unveil their new product mini laptop called Booklet 3G.It powered by an Intel Atom processor, it works in Windows 7 platform. Booklet 3G delivers impressive performance with up to 12 hours of battery life and weighs 1.25 kilograms.

Nokia released its N97 smartphone called “Advanced Mobile Computer”.It has a tilting touch-screen display, and is the first N-series phone with a QWERTY keyboard. It has 32 gigabytes of memory, expandable to 42 GB via 16 GB memory card. There’s also a five-megapixel camera with high-quality Carl Zeiss optics and video capture that Nokia describes as “DVD quality, and support for services like Share on Ovi for immediate sharing over HSDPA and WLAN.

Fennec: new mobile browser from Mozilla


Mozilla Corporation released new mobile browser which is codenamed Fennec.the code will only is available for Nokia’s N810 Internet Tablet.

Fennec uses the same core HTML rendering engine, Gecko, that’s found in desktop Firefox, with full JavaScript capability and AJAX.Gecko is also used in the ThunderHawk mobile browser, and the browser Nokia developed for the N810 tablet.

Fennec is one of a growing number of full-featured Web browsers designed specifically for mobile devices.Fennec has touch-screen support, a pop-up blocker, a password manager, and some functions which duplicate those of its larger cousin, Firefox 3, namely the unified search/bookmark/URL Awesome Bar and tabbed-style web browsing.

Nokia unveiled touch screen phone Nokia Tube

Nokia unveiled their company’s first touch-screen phone, the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic, it is known as the Nokia Tube. The 5800 runs Symbian’s Series 60 OS, which Nokia says it has modified to make the software more user friendly

Nokia Tube has a 3.2-inch haptic touch-screen, 3.2-megapixel AF camera with dual-LED flash, VGA front camera, A-GPS, HDSPA, up to 16GB of storage via microSD and some loud speakers.

Nokia Tube has a ‘contacts bar’ that shows images of frequently contacted friends. Those friends can be sent text messages directly from the home screen. Also, feeds can be assigned to those friends that will alert the device’s user to new content on social-networking sites. It also has a drop-down media bar that gives one-touch access to music, photos, video or the internet.

Tube will feature the Nokia’s Comes with Music bundle, which will allow users to freely download an unlimited number of songs from Nokia’s Music Store over a year after the initial purchase.

The Nokia tube can be used with any GSM operator in the world.

LG’s KP199 launched


LG has launched the LG KP199.It comes with a high-capacity standard Li-Ion 1300mAh battery providing talk time duration of upto 10 hours & stand-by time of upto 880 hours. The LG KP199 also features a 60 MB internal memory which can be extended upto 2GB with a microSD(transFlash) memory card. There is USB port for synchronization with PC and a Bluetooth 1.2 module. Sprint Nextel Corp. and Palm Inc. are pushing hard for enterprise customers with their new Treo 800w, the first Palm device to offer Wi-Fi and GPS connectivity, with broadband speeds.

The major new features of the Palm Treo 800w are the integrated WiFi radio and GPS receiver. The phone runs on Windows Mobile 6.1 and can access the Internet with Sprint’s broadband network or through a local Wi-Fi connection. The handset comes with a chip that allows for fast uploads off of Sprint’s EVDO Rev A network.

Nokia E66 & E71 launched


Nokia introduce two new models in its E-series catalogue–Nokia E71 and Nokia E66.The smart phone has been packed with a combination of great looks and excellent features. Unlike its predecessors, Nokia N71 has a keyboard that is much more rigid, doing away with the spongy feel. This means that you can now type your messages as well as e-mails much more quickly.
